Reporting to the Payroll and Systems Manager, the successful applicant will be the system administrator for the Council's HR and Payroll system (iTrent) and respond to data requests both internal and external. Strong communication and interpersonal skills is a must for the successful applicant, as the role will involve collaboration with various stakeholders across the organisation.
The successful applicant will also have excellent attention to detail, the ability to remain calm under pressure and organisational skills to manage a varied workload. Experience of using a wide range of computer packages including Word, Excel and Outlook are also essential to the role. Experience of using Business Objects would be advantageous however not essential, as training would be provided.
The successful applicant will work 37 hours per week Monday to Friday with the opportunity to work some of the hours from home under the Council’s hybrid working arrangements.

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Gym Instructor to become part of our gym team. The successful applicant will be qualified to level 3 as a minimum, have excellent interpersonal skills and be ready to work with the team in delivering the high level of customer service our users expect.
Duties will include setting gym programmes, fitness assessments, delivering group exercise classes, small group training sessions, personal training, use of Microsoft and Gladstone, assisting in promoting and selling of the service and the day-to-day operations of the gym floor.
The 25-hour contract will be on the following shift pattern: Monday 14:15-22:00, Wednesday 06:45-14:15, Thursday 06:45-11:00, Sunday 08:45-15:45.
The driven individual will have the desire and flexibility to do additional hours to the above, through gym floor cover and personal training. Chelmsford Sport & Athletics Centre provides numerous activities to our community, utilising the incredible range of facilities we have to offer; a Technogym equipped fitness suite, free weights, two studios, activity room, indoor and outdoor track and athletics facilities and a 4-court sports hall.
