Chelmsford City Council is seeking a full time Environmental Health Officer to join our Community Protection team. We are looking for a suitably qualified, and skilled officer who is competent and confident in the area of environmental protection. We welcome applications from recent graduates including those still working towards EHRB registration, or equivalent.
The role is varied with duties including those relating to:
Knowledge of all or some of the above environmental protection and public health disciplines is essential.
You will need excellent communication skills, a commitment to customer care and be an effective team member whilst having the ability to take on a varied case load and work independently.

Chelmsford City Council operates a flexible working day based on 37 hours per week. A full driving licence is required, and you will need to undertake some aspects of the work outside of normal office hours.
